We stopped in a small city called Tarragona where we spent a couple hours wandering through the markets and ancient ruins.

Day 47

We had the day to ourselves so a couple friends and I went South to the Formula One pavilion and then back to Calatrava City to take a tour of the Opera House!

 View from the pavilion

Beautiful Calatrava Bridge

This is the Opera House and this leaf shaped cantilever is connected at this endpoint and one small connection at the very top of the building. VERY impressive

Valencia is the hometown of Paella and it sure was fantastic

Ayesha and myself sporting the grayscale outfits... so architectural

Day 45 (Alicante)

Beautiful Alicante!
The night we arrived, our teachers showed us where the beach was and we immediately went for a swim.
The next morning a couple friends and I hiked up to the Santa Barbara Castle which sits on a mountain overlooking the beach. It was an amazing view.

I put on a little jump rope performance at the top

Looking back at the castle from the beach

aaaand we spent the rest of the day on the beach <3

Day 44 (Murcia)

Plaza Cardenal Belluga

New City Hall facing existing church
