Virginia Tech has a campus in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland where a couple of my friends are studying architecture so I took a 15 minute train from Como to Riva to hike up Mount San Georgio. It was incredible and also the hardest hike of my life, but who would miss a chance to go hiking in Switzerland? I was told by the students at Riva that you can see the Alps from the top, however I'm not sure which direction they were in. Nevertheless, I saw the Alps
